For our client, we are seeking a motivated and pragmatic individual with a strong foundation in measurement and testing technology, ideally with a background as an engineer or a comparable qualification. You are passionate about developing test systems and have already gained experience in both measurement technology and software development. Ideally, you also bring experience in project management.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Collaborate on defining requirements for new test systems
Contribute to concept development and software design
Create specifications based on requirements and concepts
Participate in software development projects for test systems
Assist in preparing cost and time estimates
Implement software, conduct testing, and document systems in SAP
Support qualification and validation processes
Provide user training and system handover
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage small-scale projects, including planning and team coordination
Troubleshooting (3rd-level support) and user assistance for deployed systems in production (and potentially with suppliers)
Provide support for production-related questions and issues
Must-Haves
University or technical college degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field
Experience in developing measurement setups or test systems
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development: NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, high-level languages (C#, C++, Python), object-oriented programming, and debugging
Solid understanding of measurement and testing technologies, including physical parameters in optics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, etc.
Experience in project management within a technical environment
Structured and independent working style with quick comprehension
Strong communication skills and assertiveness; effective collaboration with stakeholders
Responsible and reliable work ethic; team-oriented and communicative
Excellent German skills and good English skills (minimum B2 level); documentation is in English
Nice-to-Haves
Hands-on experience with hardware and electronics (troubleshooting, circuit analysis, wiring)
Experience in medical or regulated environments
Familiarity with team-based software development (source code management and parallel development)
