This position is located in In Vivo Sciences, a Chapter within Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS), where the Housing and Care of Laboratory Animals and the state-of-the-art conduct of animal experiments in Pharmacology, PK/PD, and Toxicology are primary focuses. In Vivo Sciences is responsible for the Animal Facility in pRED and is thus a key business enabler for all in vivo studies.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Conducting of in vivo studies for rodents and rabbits in the area of toxicology and pharmacokinetic. The tasks include: clinical scoring, taking blood, dosing by various routes (IP, IV, PO, Subcutaneous), basic necropsy.
* Collect, document, review and varify data on forms or in electronic data capture systems.
* Participate as a team member study activities at the weekend on a rotational basis.
* Optional: Conduct or assist during surgical procedures including anesthesia and provide pre- and postoperative care according to best veterinary and animal welfare standards
Must Haves:
* You have completed training as an in vivo associate, biology laboratory assistant, or have relevant experience in laboratory work with laboratory animals
* Work experience minimum 2 years in the field of animal laboratory work (rats and mice)
* An accredited animal course (LTK or FELASA) is mandatory
* Languages: Fluent in English
