As part of the Finance department of the European headquarters of a mid-cap manufacturing company, the
Financial Accounting Analyst
will have to perform a wide range of financial accounting & reporting, as well as internal control tasks for multiple legal entities across Europe.
You'll Have The Opportunity To
Perform monthly closing activities:
* Bank & inter-company reconciliation
* Inventory controlling, analysis & reporting
* Accounts receivable analysis & reporting
Reporting
* Financial reporting in the consolidation system
* Balance sheet analysis
* Foreign exchange gain or loss reporting
Internal Controls
* Execute and monitor internal controls
* Review and implement new internal controls to meet audit requirements
* Support on internal and/or external audits
* Prepare the required information
* Review and answer auditors' inquiries
* Statutory financial statements & income tax returns
* Coordinate statutory accounts preparation with external consultants
* Prepare and/or review adjustments from IFRS to local GAAPs
* VAT returns
* Prepare and review VAT return filings to authorities
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
* Confirmed accounting qualifications (HEC, HEG or federal diploma)
* 2 to 5 years' experience in an accounting or a finance department
* Fluency in French and English
* Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
* Knowledge of a ERP system specifically SAP is a plus
* Knowledge of IFRS is a real asset
