Your qualifications
Completed vocational training as Logistician EFZ or equivalent qualification
Proven logistic experience in a technical environment
Excellent Dangerous Goods handling experience and a valid Dangerous Goods certificate
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Good English and German communication skills (written and spoken)
Hands‑on leadership style with a proactive, structured, and reliable approach
Team player with flexibility, accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to perform under time pressure and in a fast‑paced environment

What we are looking for
At Zimex Aviation, safety and precision are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Stores Team Leader to join our Base Maintenance Facility in Altenrhein. In this vital role, you will lead our Stores team and ensure that every aircraft part, tool, and shipment – especially Dangerous Goods – is handled, stored, and transported in full compliance with aviation and safety regulations.

Your main tasks
Lead and develop a dedicated Stores team within a dynamic maintenance environment
Ensure accurate and compliant goods receipt, inspection, and documentation in line with aviation and Dangerous Goods requirements
Manage storage and dispatch of materials and components
Oversee inventory accuracy, stock levels, and system transactions (ERP)
Handle packaging and shipment according to air, sea, and road freight regulations
Supervise tool management and inventory processes
Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods and chemical storage regulations
Maintain supplier relationships for consumables and tools, including order follow‑up and quality control
Support continuous improvement of stores processes and logistics efficiency
