Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a Bioprocess Engineer for a 10 months contract role based in the Valais area, Switzerland.
Bioprocess Engineer – 6762 ASH
Main Responsibilities
As a Bioprocess Engineer (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the correct execution of production campaigns in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
Creation and review of risk analyses and implementation of the resulting measures.
Ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, troubleshooting problems, troubleshooting production equipment, and proposing solutions.
Complete documentation of processes and process know-how, as well as complete GMP documentation.
Continuous improvement opportunities for processes, equipment, and procedures, in collaboration with various project teams such as R&D, to increase process efficiency and the economic use of equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
Bachelor's/Master's degree (university/technical college) in biotechnology, life sciences, chemical engineering, or a related field.
Professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological production, preferably in the area of operations.
English is mandatory and German is nice to have
Understanding of GMP.
Strong team and leadership skills, as well as very good communication skills are among your strengths.
Characterized by cross-functional, structured, and focused work.
Well organized and open to new ideas and suggestions.
Experience in operations and knowledge of TrackWise is an advantage
