Senior Global Trade Compliance Manager

For our client from the Medical Devices industry, we are looking for a Senior Senior Global Trade Compliance Manager.
Your Tasks
* Manage Trade Compliance daily and ensure company adherence to all relevant trade laws, regulations and standards (Swiss Export control regulation (GKV, GKG), US regulation (e.g. EAR), customs regulations, sanctions, embargos, CBAM…)
* Propose and develop strategies in accordance with the company strategy and its changing economic and geopolitical changes
* Inform Top Management in a timely manner about new Global Trade Compliance Regulations & Law
* Deputy of Head of Logistics & Trade Compliance and Central Warehouses in Trade Compliance topics
* Support Trade Compliance Specialist team in day-to-day topics if required
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to international trade activities
* Product Ownership of Global Trade Services
* Contact with authorities, customers, and suppliers in connection with the assessment, review, and internal approvals according to Trade Compliance requirements
* Leading the Trade Compliance teams located in Europe (Trade Compliance Specialists)
* Project lead and participation in Trade Compliance and Cross functional projects
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in business economy, International Trade Law, or similar including Logistic and SCM background (Masters preferred)
* Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in trade compliance, import/export operations, or related roles.
* In-depth knowledge of international trade and customs regulations (e.g., EAR, customs, sanctions, embargos)
* Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, Certified Export Specialist).
* Knowledge in Master Data Management (COO, HS Codes, Preferent Calculation)
* Business proficient English & German
* SAP, GTS, MS Office Systems
