We are looking for a flexible and dynamic person to join our Art Basel team in Basel on a temporary contract
starting as soon as possible and running until April 14, 2026.
Role overview:
You will help build and manage partnerships for Art Basel in Europe. Your work will include supporting the acquisition of new partners, managing relationships with existing ones, and making sure all partnership activities run smoothly—both on site at shows and online.
Your responsibilities:
Partner Acquisition
* Support and prepare clear partnership proposals, contracts, and client-facing documents.
* Support new business strategies together with local and global colleagues.
* Research sponsorship trends and partnership opportunities in Europe and worldwide, sharing insights with the team.
Account & Project Management
* Deliver all agreed benefits for sponsors/partners at Art Basel shows and on digital platforms with a specific focus on the Art Basel in Basel show.
* Manage relationships with multiple partners at once, often across time zones.
* Ensure partners receive consistent, high-quality service and that all contracts are fulfilled.
Operations & Administration
* Oversee partner activities from planning to on-site execution.
* Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, PR, Digital, VIP, Operations, Galleries) for smooth activations.
* Handle logistics such as regulations, buildouts, and permits.
* Prepare post-show reports and debriefs.
* Monitor partner fees and related budgets.
* Take care of administrative tasks like databases, forms, and internal reports.
* Provide general support to the Regional Head of Partnerships Europe.
Your profile:
* Bachelor's degree in arts administration, Marketing/Communications, or similar.
* At least 3 years in sales, fundraising, marketing, or partnerships in arts, culture, or a similar field.
* Proven success in project or event management, ideally in an international setting.
* Comfort with legal contracts is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
* Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage.
* Digital and social media savvy.
* Client-focused, proactive, and quick to learn.
* Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple projects at once.
* A positive, solution-driven team player with strong initiative.
* Willing to travel and work overtime or abroad when needed.
* Strong knowledge of and interest in visual arts.
* Fluent English: German and French are a plus.
