Your position
* Collaborate with team members to support scientific research projects by performing experiments and developing protocols.
* Actively participate in our research team, working closely with the group leader, undergraduates, PhD students, and postdocs.
* Assist with the practical training of undergraduate students.
Your profile
Essential Qualifications :
* MSc. degree in Life Sciences or a degree as a laboratory technician.
* Experience in an academic research lab.
* Hands-on knowlege in at least one of the following areas :
* Imaging : Sample preparation (whole mount and / or sections / histology) and fluorescence microscopy (epifluorescence / confocal)
* Genomics : Techniques such as ChIP-seq, CUT&Tag, RNA-seq, library preparation for deep sequencing.
Any of the following qualification or interests would be an asset :
* Experience or interest rearing or working with non-model or emerging model organisms.
* Knowledge of image analysis software like Fiji, Imaris, or Zen Blue.
* Drosophila genetics.
* Understanding of the academic publishing process.

* Organized and systematic personality with the ability to work independently.
* Ability to perform experiments reproducibly, ensuring consistency and reliability in wet lab procedures and documentation of data.
* Team player capable of effectively communicating in a culturally diverse, international environment and across disciplines (e.g. with bioinformaticists).
* Fluent in German and English (working language) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.).
* Enthusiasm for contributing to a multidisciplinary scientific environment exploring diverse topics, from basic biology to disease‑relevant areas.
