About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Tax (m/f/d) to join our Finance team in Lucerne. This role is reporting directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in international tax management and is capable of operating independently in a complex, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all tax-related activities across the GC Holding Group.
* Coordinate with the transfer pricing team on business expansion and implementation strategies.
* Support the development and expansion of the principal model in Japan and other regions.
* Conduct research and analysis on global tax planning, M&A, cross‑border transactions, and tax credit opportunities.
* Maintain documentation and calculations related to tax attributes, CBCR reports, and BEPS compliance.
* Review quarterly effective tax rate calculations and related journal entries.
* Oversee transfer pricing compliance, reviews, and reporting.
* Develop and execute international tax planning strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage monthly tax reporting and closing processes.
* Lead the development of the tax budget and contribute to special finance and tax projects.
* Provide strategic support to the CFO and collaborate on broader finance initiatives.
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Finance, or Law.
* Proven experience in international tax management or advisory, ideally within a multinational company.
* Strong understanding of transfer pricing, treasury-related tax topics, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. CBCR, BEPS).
* Proficient in MS Office and experienced in managing tax data and reporting.
* Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
* Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and collaborating across departments.
* Meticulous, open‑minded, and able to manage deadlines with a high degree of confidentiality.
* Willingness to travel up to 10%.
