Responsibilities
* Manage general ledger activities
* Oversee fixed asset accounting: setup, depreciation, and reconciliation between sub-ledgers and the general ledger
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
* Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors
* Assist in balance sheet analysis, intercompany transactions, and reserve calculations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and systems
* Maintain documentation of accounting policies and procedures
* Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
* 5 or more years of relevant business experience in accounting
* Fluent in English and Italian
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
* Knowledge of Swiss statutory regulation enabling the proper accounting for the preparation of the financial statements
* Knowledge of Swiss VAT and statutory regulations for VAT calculation and VAT returns
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Availability for business travel
