Responsibilities
* Compliance Leadership: Ensure export control compliance at the site in close collaboration with the Local Export Control Officer (LECO).
* IMCP Management: Take ownership of developing, monitoring, and refining the Internal Management & Compliance Program (IMCP).
* Product Classification: Actively support the classification of goods and conduct sanctions list, embargo, and dual‑use checks (including releasing blocks) within SAP GTS.
* License Management: Handle end‑to‑end license management, including the application and administration of licenses with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
* Process Optimization & Training: Define, implement, and continuously improve foreign trade processes and lead internal training sessions to foster a culture of compliance.
* Consulting & Projects: Act as a subject matter expert for internal departments and represent export control interests in both local and global projects.
* Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of changing regulations and ensure seamless implementation during operational audits and interactions with authorities.
Qualifications
* Completed commercial education with several years of professional experience in Import, Export, or Trade.
* Experience in an international industrial environment.
* Solid knowledge of Swiss, European, and international export control regulations.
* Independent, analytical, and results‑oriented working style with strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
* Advanced German and English language skills.
* Advanced user knowledge of SAP GTS and MS Office (Nice to have).
* Familiarity with US Export Control regulations (EAR) (Nice to have).
