About the Role
We are seeking a Sous Chef (m/w/) to join our airline catering kitchen. You will support the Head Chef in leading daily operations, ensuring that meals are produced on time, at the highest quality, and according to client specifications. This role requires creativity, leadership, and strong organizational skills — with a particular focus on the unique demands of airline catering.
Annual gross salary CHF 68,000–75,000 (including 13th month), negotiable depending on experience.

* Excellent command of English (written and spoken); English is the working language of the company and is essential for internal and external communication. German is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef (minimum 3–5 years).
* Airline catering or large-scale food production experience is strongly preferred.
* Extensive experience across major international cuisines, including French, Italian, Indian, Asian, and Arabic cuisine.
* Strong knowledge of special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten-free, and allergy-related diets.
* In-depth knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen procedures.
* Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing teams in a kitchen environment.
* High accuracy and speed under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office and kitchen management tools.
* Flexible to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Willingness and expectation to work overtime when required due to workload peaks, staff shortages, or last-minute orders.
* Full flexibility and cooperation for special events and major projects, such as airline meal presentations, WEF, Art Basel, and similar high-profile events, which may involve overtime and changes to regular days off.
