Senior Business Manager – IT & Engineering Services
About the Role
As a Senior Business Manager, you will be a key driver of PrimeIT growth in Switzerland. Your mission is to expand our footprint in the Swiss market, nurture strong partnerships, and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts. You will report directly to the Executive Director and play a central role in shaping the local team’s success.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Prospection & Cold Calling: Build and maintain a robust client pipeline through proactive outreach and networking. Leverage your existing connections and market insight to identify new business opportunities aligned with industry needs.
* Business Development & Relationship Management: Develop long-term partnerships by understanding client goals, preparing tailored proposals, leading complex negotiations, and ensuring seamless delivery of solutions.
* Recruitment & Team Leadership: Build and mentor your own team of consulting engineers—overseeing sourcing, interviews, and performance management. Act as a coach and motivator to ensure technical excellence and client satisfaction.
* Strategic Management: Oversee project success metrics, guide consultants both technically and professionally, and ensure continuous improvement in service quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and grow business opportunities in IT, Engineering, and outsourcing services within the Swiss market.
* Build and strengthen client relationships through meetings, events, and strategic networking.
* Drive business growth for the Swiss office, supporting expansion into new sectors and accounts.
* Monitor, report, and tackle KPIs, financial performance, and team progress to leadership.
* Partner with the back-office and operational teams to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
* 2 to 3+ years of proven experience in business development, account management, or consulting within IT, Engineering, nearshoring, or outsourcing sectors.
* Proven success in managing large, strategic accounts in the Swiss region.
* University degree or equivalent professional background.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and French.
* Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and capable of leading both strategy and execution.
* Ability to work in-office in Geneva (hybrid model).
