Your Tasks:
1. Responsible for ensuring that all import and export activities comply with applicable international trade laws, regulations, and internal policies
2. Supporting the global organization in minimizing Trade Compliance risk, maintaining operational efficiency, and enabling lawful global trade
3. Ensuring that cross-border transactions are conducted in full compliance with customs, sanctions, and export control requirements
4. Oversight of import/export processes, classification of goods, screening of business partners, and continuous monitoring of regulatory changes that may impact the company’s operations.
5. Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export laws and regulations, including customs requirements, export controls, and trade sanctions. - Maintain and enforce internal trade compliance policies, SOPs, procedures, and controls.
6. Classify products using appropriate tariff codes (e.g., HS, ECCN), ensure accurate documentation (LLEs, End User Certificates), Preference Calculation
7. Conduct restricted party screening in GTS, release GTS blocks daily, and escalate potential compliance risks
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (logistics, sales, procurement, legal, finance, tax.. etc) to ensure compliant trade operations.
9. Act as a subject matter expert on trade compliance, customs matters and provide guidance to business units and stakeholders.
10. Support internal and external audits related to trade compliance and customs
11. Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization (CBAM, US Tariffs, Trade Agreements)
12. Maintain accurate records in accordance with legal retention requirements. - Identify compliance risks and implement corrective and preventive actions together will the Trade Compliance Team.
13. Support internal stakeholder and Trade Compliance Manager in Projects
14. Generate reports and KPIs related to compliance performance and risk exposure

15. Completed vocational education and training
16. Fluent German and English
17. Further education in trade compliance and CH/EU customs regulations
18. Trade Compliance SAP and GTS
19. Good MS XL level
