As Technical Sales Specialist AV, you are the technical spearhead of Q‑SYS in Switzerland – directly at the interface between customers, system integrators, sales, and development.

* Supporting partners and customers onsite
* Designing and documenting Q‑SYS solutions
* Diagnosing and resolving issues in existing installations while guiding projects from concept to stable operation
* Possessing system‑integration experience (or training as a multimedia electronics technician / media technician) and a passion for explaining technology clearly
* Engaging confidently in direct customer contact, representing Q‑SYS professionally and pragmatically
You work closely with our Regional Sales Manager, the engineering team, and the international Q‑SYS network. Your work has direct impact on project success, customer satisfaction, and product development.
Responsibilities
* Technical support for system integrators, planners, and end‑customers across Switzerland (on‑site and remote)
* Creating Q‑SYS designs (audio, video, control) from requirements to final concept
* Troubleshooting and optimizing existing Q‑SYS installations (network, DSP, peripherals, third‑party integration)
* Supporting presales: capturing requirements, developing solution concepts, clarifying feasibility, estimating effort
* Delivering presentations, live demos, and training for customers and partners (German/English, French a plus)
* Collaborating closely with development and AET teams – feeding field experience into roadmaps and product improvements
* Assisting in go‑to‑market activities: technical support for roadshows, trade shows, partner events, and alliance partners (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms)
* Documenting best practices: creating sample designs, guidelines, and templates for partners and customers
Qualifications
* Completed training as a multimedia electronics technician (EFZ), AV/media technician, or equivalent technical background; or several years of experience in AV system integration (system integrator, specialist planner, manufacturer, or distributor)
* Excellent technical understanding in audio/video/control and networking
* Ideally experience with Q‑SYS or other DSP/control platforms
* Experience with protocols such as Dante, AES67, AVB, IP streaming, etc.
* Comfortable in server rooms, configuration tools, and client meetings
* Enjoys troubleshooting, analysis, and solution development – even when challenges arise
* Strong soft skills: explaining complex technical content clearly; calm, professional, and solution‑oriented even under pressure
* Languages: German native level, English fluent, French beneficial for client contact
* Willingness to travel within Switzerland
* Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office a plus
