We are currently supporting our client in Luzern region in the search for an experienced
IT System Technician (m/w/d
) to take on a key role in the technical onboarding and offboarding of customers to a secure, cloud-based IT environment.
In this position, you will join a dedicated team of three IT professionals led by an experienced project manager.
The platform is a Swiss-hosted, remote desktop infrastructure tailored specifically for public sector clients such as municipalities and local governments. Each customer is provided with their own virtual server and a secure VPN connection to their local network. These clients - typically small teams of 5 to 25 employees - use the environment to access specialized ERP solutions designed for municipal administration.

Main Responsibilities:
Onboarding Tasks Include:
* Creating and setting up RDS servers
* Configuring VPN connections
* Creating AD user accounts for customers
* Setting up NTFS file storage and permissions based on a permission matrix
* Integrating M365 tenants into our Microsoft Partner Center
* Installing customer-specific third-party and/or cantonal applications on the RDS server
* Setting up customer tenants in the ERP system
* Migrating data from other IT service providers (file storage, SQL databases)
* Performing database migrations for GemoWin NG and Dialog G6 (executing scripts)
* Installing and configuring network components at customer sites (field service)
Your Profile:
* Vocational training in IT (EFZ or HF) or related field
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in similar role like: IT System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Specialist, Cloud Support Engineer / Cloud Onboarding Specialist, Technical Consultant or related role
* Required Technical Knowledge:
* Microsoft Windows 11
* Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or newer
* Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft M365
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
* General knowledge of networking, firewalls, and switches
* Very good level of German and/ or Swiss German is required
Additional Information:
* Contract duration: 6-9 months with an option for the extension or internalization ( FTE)
* Commute to customer in Baldegg must be within 45 minutes
* On-site presence in Baldegg is expected at 60-80%, with 20% remote work
* Working Time: 40h per week
