About the Project
We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher / Product Owner / Business Operations Engineer to support the IP & Gateway Engineering DevSecOps Team within the Führungsnetz Schweiz (Swiss Command Network).
This position combines operational coordination, agile product ownership, and service management to ensure efficient and secure delivery of critical network services in a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily operational activities across technical and operational teams
2. Act as the primary contact for incident and change coordination on the Führungsnetz Schweiz
3. Support 12 Agile Sprints annually within the IP & GW Engineering DevSecOps Team (LCM Campus LAN)
4. Oversee project rollouts and service fulfillment for new and existing network services
5. Manage production schedules and coordinate the transition of new applications into production
6. Execute and monitor ITIL-based Service Operation and Service Transition processes
7. Track performance, ensure KPI achievement, and prepare management reports
8. Support development and operations teams in production workflows and process optimization
9. Initiate tuning, automation, and performance measurements to enhance service efficiency
10. Create and maintain availability reports and outage statistics
11. Coordinate installations, integration tests, and implementation of security solutions
12. Define and implement quality assurance and escalation procedures in Dispatching
13. Contribute across all project phases: Initialization, Design, Implementation, Rollout, Operation, and Decommissioning
Your Profile
14. Proven experience in IT service coordination, product ownership, or business operations within complex infrastructure environments
15. Sound understanding of ITIL, DevSecOps, and service management principles
16. Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills
17. Experience in secure or government-related IT operations is an advantage
18. Structured, analytical, and results-driven approach with a proactive attitude
19. Ability to work on-site in a highly secure environment
Required Certifications
Manufacturer-based technical certifications on Carrier-Grade Infrastructure, such as:
20. Cisco
21. Nokia
22. Ribbon
23. Ericsson
24. Check Point
or equivalent vendor qualifications
Prerequisites
25. Language: German minimum B2 level
26. Valid Swiss work permit and residence (mandatory)
27. References: Minimum of two professional references (not older than 5 years)
