On behalf of our client, a leading international family office and one of the top providers of services for complex trust structures, we are seeking a Business Risk Management Officer (100%) to join their team in Vaduz. Operating on a truly global scale, the organization offers a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment. Business Risk Management Officer - International Family Office - Vaduz (m/w/d), 100% The Business Risk Management Officer (BRMO) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive business risk management framework across the organization. This is a newly created, operational role with a strong focus on process risk, internal control, and business continuity, rather than pure compliance.Reporting directly to CFO, the BRMO will serve as the central point of contact for all business risk topics across functions. The role offers the unique opportunity to build the risk strategy and control framework from the ground up, covering the following key areas: Finance & Accounting, Payments & Operations, Investment Administration, Technology, Compliance, Senior Management & Board.Please note that applicants from outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein will not be considered. This position does not offer international relocation.Your tasksDevelop and implement a company-wide risk management and control framework, ensuring alignment with SOX requirementsEstablish risk strategy, governance principles, and internal policies to embed risk awareness across the organizationCollaborate with leadership to define risk appetite and ensure operational alignmentConduct initial and periodic assessments of the organization’s risk landscape to identify emerging internal and external risksMaintain and update the risk register, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory expectationsDesign and maintain internal control processes to manage operational and business risks effectivelyPartner with business units to strengthen process integrity and mitigate control weaknessesSupport incident and crisis management, including root cause analysis and remediation planningDevelop and maintain the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and related testing protocolsPromote risk awareness across teams through targeted training programs and internal communicationsPrepare and present risk reports, updates, and dashboards for senior management and the BoardEnsure clear communication and transparency of key risks, mitigation actions, and control performance across the organizationYour profileBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CRMA, CIA, CISA) are an advantageSolid experience in risk management, internal controls, or process design, ideally within a consulting or corporate risk functionKnowledge of SOX, FINMA, and related regulatory environmentsProven ability to design and implement risk control frameworks and policiesHands-on, operational mindset with strong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills in EnglishDiscreet, reliable, and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and integrityAble to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, international environmentWhat our client offersA highly professional and international working environment with flat hierarchiesExposure to complex, challenging, and meaningful tasks with global impactOpportunity to work closely with senior professionals in one of the most respected family offices worldwideA culture of excellence, integrity, and collaborationThe chance to establish yourself in a leading organization and develop personally and professionally Fabian Koch, Managing Partner, is actively looking for exceptional talent - and your profile might be exactly what he’s searching for.
