Join the Denner team as a Senior Data Scientist and help shape the future of retail through innovative AI and analytics models that optimize processes and create personalized customer experiences.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement advanced analytical models and AI solutions to optimize the supply chain and customer experience.
* Analyze complex supply chain data to drive efficiency gains and cost reductions.
* Design data‑driven approaches to personalize marketing outreach, boosting customer satisfaction and marketing efficiency.
* Identify new data science use cases in retail and translate innovative ideas into production solutions.
* Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to embed data‑driven decisions into business processes.
* Present results and insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all corporate levels.
Qualifications
* University (Uni/ETH, FH, HF) degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field, ideally with a focus on Machine Learning or AI.
* Several years of experience developing and implementing analytical models and AI solutions, preferably in a retail environment.
* Strong understanding of statistical methods and algorithms and their application to real business scenarios.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with mainstream machine‑learning frameworks.
* Experience working with large data volumes, databases and cloud technologies, ideally Azure.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging way to stakeholders.
* German (fluent)
* English (good knowledge)
