VF Corporationis seeking a strategic and results-drivenIndirect Procurement Global Category Managerto lead sourcing and category management initiatives across key spend areas and regions.The role can be located in Stabio (CH), Shanghai, Denver or Greensboro (USA).Let's Talk About The RoleThis role is a leadership position responsible for developing and executing global category sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving value creation while ensuring quality and compliance.This role will be responsible for leading the sourcing of the Supply Chain category which includes:Supply Chain Equipment, Services, and TechnologyMROWarehousingLogisticsHow You Will Make a DifferenceCategory Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to optimize cost, quality, and service.Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Lead negotiations and performance reviews to ensure alignment with business goals.Market Analysis: Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay informed of industry trends, risks, and opportunities.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies align with organizational objectives.Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Cost Optimization: Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, demand management, and process improvements.People Management: Develop and lead a global team of 2-4 direct reportsRisk Management: Assess and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity and supplier resilience.Skills For SuccessSolid and extended experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management in global organizationspeople management experience, ideally in international teamsStrong negotiation, analytical, and project management skillsProficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa)Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProfessional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plusExperience working with a fashion or apparel business is a plusAbout VFVF is a global apparel company connecting people to the lifestyles they cherish through our family of iconic brands.
