Responsibilities
* Prospect new customers and develop new opportunities with existing clients
* Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law‑established rules and guidelines
* Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
* Build long‑term relationships with new and existing customers
* Lead important new/strategic projects and act as the reference person
* Establish, monitor and coordinate timely action plans, taking into consideration positive and negative deviations from target
* Lead the process to establish a mid‑term strategy and a yearly budget focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
* Represent the SGS Health Sciences R&D/QC in conventions, exhibitions, professional associations (etc.)
* Collaborate with other SGS sites and with the Global Health Science Drug development team to develop a growth strategy
* Sell Health Science Drug services utilizing the strength of the business infrastructure and resources
* Enhance business’s presence and market share by managing the existing and new clients
* To sell and lead the roll out of new products developed by the business
Qualifications
* BSc/MSc diploma or equivalent in a science discipline (e.g. analytical chemistry, biochemistry).
* Basic knowledge of the activities of a GMP contract service lab and/or the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry.
* Good understanding of the analytical testing services required throughout the entire drug development lifecycle, from preclinical stages to commercial release would be a plus.
* About 5 years sales experience in the Health Science Industry.
