We're hiring: Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer
Start: ASAP
Location: Geneva (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
Duration: April 2026 till March 2027 (12 months) - Full time Base (100%)
Responsibilities
* Designing and deploying ML models (recommender systems, classifiers, Generative AI)
* Measuring the ROI of models in production and building business case presentations
* Building CI/CD pipelines and working closely with Data Engineers
* Deploying ML solutions in Vertex AI (GCP)
* Managing project milestones and presenting progress and outcomes to leadership
* Interacting with business teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
* Presenting technical results and project outcomes to non‑technical stakeholders in a clear and accessible way
Skills
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
* Strong specialization in Data Science with proven hands‑on experience
* Previous experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ideally Vertex AI
* Expert in Python and SQL
* Solid experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
* Understanding of Airflow and Terraform
* Strong business acumen: ability to turn data into actionable business decisions
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics simply and effectively
* Experience with Generative AI in production settings is a strong plus
* Proficiency in English mandatory (C1 minimum)
Background
* Master’s degree (or higher) in Software Engineering or equivalent
* PhD is a plus but not mandatory
