Job description:As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with experience of order management systems like FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform / Front Arena to join the business facing Trading Applications Team.Joining a small and diverse team supporting a range of banking applications, the Technical Support Engineer would help resolve issues end-to-end. You would document resolutions and share your knowledge with the rest of the First Level Support Team. You will contribute to development and work items.Responsibilities will include: Resolve incidents reported by business users on Banking applicationsCoordinate between various teams within the department and internal IT teams within the bank to fix major incidentsCommunicate updates to business usersDocument issues and resolutions using internal systemsContribute to long-term system enhancements either as a developer or a business analyst You will possess as many of the following skills as possible:At least 3 years' experience working at a financial institution as engineer / technical support in a banking environment.Experience working with order management systems (esp. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform / FrontArena)Hands on experience working in an ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) environment / knowledgeExperience working with Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL Server, and writing SQL queriesExperience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., ELK)Fluency in EnglishNice to have:Experience working with OpenLink Findur/Endur or any major trading platformExperience working with GoldenSource or any major enterprise data management systemExperience working with financial messages (SWIFT, FIX, CTM)Experience working with asset management solutions (Aladdin)Experience with trading venues (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FXall, Tradeweb, Eurex)Please note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland.
