We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in retail supply chain operations for a long-term Direct Tax & Compliance Coordinator (50%–60%) Start: As soon as possible Location: Pratteln, Switzerland Workload: 50–60% (spread over 3–4 days preferred) Contract: Permanent Position Overview This role is ideal for a reliable and well-organized professional with experience in accounting or tax compliance, who is looking for a long-term, stable part-time position in an international environment. The focus is on organising, coordinating and preparing compliance deliverables for several non-Swiss legal entities. You will collect financial data, prepare tax documents, coordinate signatures and deadlines, support tax advisors, and ensure that all compliance steps are completed accurately and on time. This is not a career-track role and does not require deep technical tax expertise. A solid understanding of accounting or basic corporate tax concepts is fully sufficient. Key Responsibilities * Collect and organise financial data for corporate income tax filings (non-Swiss entities) * Coordinate with local offices, advisors and internal teams (deadlines, documents, signatures) * Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and schedules * Support tax advisors with tax returns, tax payments and related processes * Monitor timelines and ensure deliverables are submitted on time * Support tax provision calculations (template-based) * Assist with transfer pricing documentation (no deep expertise required) * Support tax audits by gathering documents and information * Maintain internal controls and process documentation Your Profile Strong organisational skills and reliability Enjoys structured tasks, accuracy and deadline-driven work Comfortable working independently but communicative with stakeholders Looking for a long-term part-time role (This role does not offer a career progression path) Flexible during peak times (month-end, year-end, audit cycles) Must-Haves Experience in accounting OR basic corporate tax compliance Good understanding of financial data and Excel Fluent English (written & spoken) Already eligible to work in Switzerland Willing and able to work 50–60% on a regular basis Nice-to-Haves Experience in corporate income tax processes (any jurisdiction) Experience in administrative compliance roles Comfort working with ERP systems (SAP an advantage) Who This Role Is Good For Accounting/finance professionals seeking a stable part-time role Returning professionals (e.g., after family period) Detail-oriented, dependable candidates who prefer structured work People who want international exposure without a high-pressure tax career Application Please send your CV to olivier.schneider@swissworkag.ch
