Our supply chain is currently undergoing a major transformation journey, focused on digitalization, enhanced data visibility, and system modernization, including the deployment of Power BI for advanced analytics.
Your Mission
As a Demand Planner, reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, you will support the demand planning function by analyzing sales data, forecasting accurately future demand, and ensuring that inventory levels align with business objective, for a defined portfolio of items.
You will also contribute to the ongoing transformation projects and help shape the future of our demand planning processes.
Key Performance Indicators
The main KPIs for the Demand Planner are the Forecast Accuracy and Bias .
Key Responsibilities
Create Forecast for a defined portfolio, by reviewing historical sales, market trends, price changes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights regarding market conditions, trends and customer behavior
Prepare and present demand forecasts to stakeholders, highlighting key assumptions and potential risks
Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to improve reliability.
Proactively communicate & escalate issues & risks, maintaining an agile and strong collaboration with both management and main stakeholders (Supply Planners, Project Coordinator, Product Managers)
Maintain accurate Master Data
Support fast implementation of New & Replacement items projects
Drives continuous improvement to develop our processes and tools
Requirements
University degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
OR 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector
Good knowledge of Demand & Supply Planning, Purchasing, Transport functions & Retail business
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data-driven mindset
Strong verbal and written communication skills .
Good practice of Excel ( Power BI is a plus)
Experience with operational activities, with strong priority management skills
Fluent in English (mandatory), French is a plus
