The Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will support quality activities across the full product lifecycle, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure products meet defined requirements and customer expectations. This role offers hands‑on exposure to testing, validation, and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced hardware environment.
Responsibilities
Support Quality Activities: Assist with quality assurance initiatives throughout development, prototyping, and production phases.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to understand requirements and support quality checks against specifications.
QA Process Execution: Contribute to the creation, execution, and improvement of QA processes, including test plans, validation activities, and basic quality metrics.
Hands‑On Testing & Validation: Perform practical testing and validation, identify defects, document findings, and support root‑cause analysis.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate records of test results, quality activities, and issues, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
Customer‑Focused Quality: Support the integration of customer feedback into product improvements and quality enhancements.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to quality processes, tools, and ways of working as products and teams evolve.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
3+ years’ experience in a quality, testing, or engineering support role (experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment is an advantage).
Basic understanding of quality principles and standards (e.g. ISO, Six Sigma, or similar), with a strong willingness to deepen expertise.
Some hands‑on experience with testing, validation, and quality‑related documentation.
Strong attention to detail with a structured, problem‑solving mindset.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within collaborative, cross‑functional teams.
Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and motivated to grow responsibilities and technical skill sets over time.
