Scientific Collaborator - Build-up of the Core Service Implementation Science Immediately or by agreement (40 - 100%) The Department of Public Health (DPH) at the University of Basel is seeking, immediately or by agreement, a research associate to establish the newly founded Core Service for Implementation Science. The position can be filled individually at 80-100% or in job sharing with at least 40% per person. It is limited to 9 months. In the event of a positive project evaluation, there is the prospect of taking over the leadership of the Core Facility. The DPH of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Basel aims to promote the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, based on local, national, and global needs. Research groups within the DPH develop, implement, and evaluate practice-oriented interventions in interdisciplinary teams to provide independent scientific insights that maximize impact at all decision-making levels. With the goal of promoting scientific research that makes a difference (science to impact), the department also offers services, particularly in the areas of health economics and implementation science. These services are available to various units of the University of Basel as well as other institutions, especially through established academic-practice partnerships, such as with hospitals, long-term care facilitiies, and health authorities. Your position You will develop the conceptual and organizational foundation for the new Core Service Implementation Science at the Department of Public Health. You will conduct a systematic context, needs, and stakeholder analysis, identifying opportunities, requirements, and existing resources within the department and beyond.
