Job Overview
The E-commerce Product Owner is a strategic role that oversees the development and implementation of e-commerce projects.
Responsibilities include identifying user needs, conducting user studies, and producing data-driven analyses to support business owners in creating user stories and adopting a consumer-centric strategy.
Prioritize projects and improvements to achieve e-commerce objectives while working with technical leaders to define project specifications and ensure adherence to timelines, scope, budget, and development quality.
Oversee testing, coordinate with QA managers and business owners, and support the head of e-commerce in animating the international network.
Train local e-commerce managers, share best practices, and promote Agile methodologies.
Plan the deployment of new features, monitor and optimize popular payment methods in collaboration with e-commerce managers and the payment method lead.
Define requirements and priorities based on data, analyze the impact of newly implemented features, and set up fraud detection use cases with stakeholders.
Continuously monitor e-commerce trends.
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Project Management, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience
* Proficiency in Agile (SCRUM) project management
* Strong technical problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of UX and UI, with a user-focused approach
* Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills
* Team player, rigorous, organized, and flexible
* Significant experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, preferably in an international e-commerce setting
* Proven ability to manage a feature backlog using an advanced ticketing tool (e.g., Jira)
* Solid experience in implementing payment methods and fraud management tools
* In-depth knowledge of UX and UI, with a strong focus on user needs
