This role focuses on engaging donors by producing global virtual experiences (VEs) and bespoke VEs in collaboration with the Virtual Experiences Task Force, the PRI team, and other PFP teams.
For every child, the right to hope. Purpose of assignment: to meet the growing need for donor engagement through VE production and management, under supervision of the Communications Specialist (Producer - Virtual Experiences).
Major Tasks / Scope of Work Plan and coordinate for the Supporter Content Team.
Facilitate coordination between the Supporter Content Team, PFP stakeholders (e.g., VE Task Force, C4P) and key partners.
Develop an annual project plan and adjust for changing events, trends, and strategy.
Coordinate key dates and information for VE delivery (speakers, rehearsals, event dates).
Narrative content design and production of Virtual Experiences (VEs).
Support the strategic process of narrative design and production of each VE (0.5 to 1 hour live online events) with producers and channel leads.
Ensure concept and key messages are realized (emergency and non-emergency content).
VE Event Organization: lead and coordinate with UNICEF colleagues, set agenda, share pre-reading materials, provide technical guidance, schedule rehearsals, and coordinate interpreters and guests; ensure follow-up.
Coordinate fundraising materials related to VE content with fundraising teams; provide post-production materials and uploads to stakeholders.
VE capacity building and SharePoint management; support training webinars with Natcoms and COs/ROs; coordinate resource sharing for Natcoms and COs/ROs.
Ensure content (invites, updates, videos) are uploaded to the VE SharePoint Hub; manage content-related queries.
Perform any other related VE production management tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities of the Consultant The consultant will use their own equipment as required.
Content/materials are the property of UNICEF; the consultant must not share them without written permission.
Responsibilities of UNICEF Provide all details pertaining to the activity and requirements; orient the consultant on UNICEF branding and production guidelines.
Deliverables Deliverable 1: Develop VE production plans and keep them updated for each VE.
Deliverable 2: Document and track VE production processes (minutes, action items, stakeholder updates).
Deliverable 3: Support production of global and bespoke VEs (invitations, script development, guest bookings, crossings, rehearsals, interpretation, post-production materials, monitoring and evaluation data, fundraising materials, content sharing, and stakeholder queries).
Travel No travel is envisaged for this consultancy. If travel is required, it will be covered separately by UNICEF and not included in the fee.

Qualifications Education A first level university degree in Marketing, Communications, Humanities, journalism, or another relevant field. Additional related training is an asset.
Experience Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in media and communications.
Proven experience in live broadcast media production and scripting.
Experience in managing production development and implementation of live digital events with clear objectives and KPIs.
Experience in digital and social media content and audience trends; managing online platforms and channels.
Experience in design and management of live events, including budget management and evaluation of results.
Experience in developing in a developing or emergency environment is an asset.
Language Fluency in English required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language is an asset.
