Process Engineer - Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation to recruit an experienced Process Engineer to support the development of major capital projects across a diverse and innovative therapeutic portfolio.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the earliest stages of project development, transforming business strategy into technical solutions that will define the next generation of manufacturing facilities.
As a Front-End Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the Ideation, Feasibility and Concept Design phases of strategic investment projects, working closely with business leaders, technical experts, and external engineering partners.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading process design activities during early project phases
Translating business requirements into technical project scopes
Developing Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), mass balances, and equipment concepts
Managing EPCM partners and engineering consultants to ensure high-quality project deliverables
Supporting projects across multiple modalities including biologics, cell & gene therapy, mRNA, small molecules, bioconjugates, and aseptic manufacturing
Driving sustainable, safe, and efficient engineering solutions while supporting global operational initiatives
What We're Looking For
Strong process engineering experience within biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
Proven knowledge of facility design principles, process development, and engineering standards
Experience reviewing engineering concepts and managing external vendors or contractors
Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, budgets, and schedules simultaneously
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences
Full professional fluency in English
