Job Opportunity
Your role will be to design and implement HVAC systems within the scope of a future facility. The position involves working on industrial ventilation systems, including sizing, cost estimation, and planning for proposed solutions.
* You will collect ventilation requirements, interact with partners and external consultants, and write technical reports and notes.
* You will draw up technical specifications and relevant documents for work adjudication to external contractors.
The ideal candidate has experience in designing large-size ventilation installations, selecting equipment and instrumentation, and knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drawings and 3D modeling. Knowledge of Revit is an asset.
This job requires strong communication skills, teamwork, self-management, and flexibility. Spoken and written English are essential, with a commitment to learn French.
Eligibility Criteria:
* You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
* You have a professional background in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) and have either a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience, or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
* You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
About this Position
This position involves working in radiation areas, underground installations, and having a valid driving license.
You will benefit from on-the-job training at CERN as well as in-house language courses for English and/or French.
