In this senior position, you will develop and extend a core banking platform, combining software engineering with requirements from the financial and capital markets environment. The focus is on the further development of a microservices architecture to support business‑critical processes along the trade and financial data lifecycle. You will work at the interface of backend development, data processing, and quantitative financial requirements, contributing to the implementation of stable, high‑performance, and regulatory‑compliant solutions.
Tasks
* Further development and optimization of the CORE Banking platform based on a microservices architecture
* Design, development and operation of backend services in Python and .NET/C#
* Processing and modeling of complex financial and transaction data
* Support for professional requirements in the areas of trading, risk or finance through technical solutions
* Collaboration on systems along the trade lifecycle (pre‑trade, execution, post‑trade)
* Ensuring performance, stability, and quality in productive, highly critical systems
* Close collaboration with specialist departments, architects and the development team
Requirements
* Completed studies in computer science (university of applied sciences/higher technical college/Bachelor/Master) or comparable qualificatio
* Several years of experience +12 years in backend development in complex enterprise environments (ideally banking, trading or financial services)
* Excellent knowledge of Python and/or C#/.NET
* Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and API‑based architecture
* Understanding of data‑intensive systems and complex business processes
* Experience in the financial sector (e.g., trading, risk, payments, or core banking) is an advantage
* Interest in or experience with quantitative or analytical issues is desirable
* Experience in high‑performance, stability‑critical and regulated production environment
* Good knowledge of SQL Server and performance optimizatio
* Experience with real‑time or near‑real‑time data processin
