Lead Connectivity & Alarming
We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Software Leader to drive the development of IoT edge devices and software that connect elevators and escalators to our cloud ecosystem. Your work will enable emergency alarm functionality, advanced remote monitoring, and seamless building integration, paving the way for next‑generation passenger experiences. You will lead a local team in Schindler’s Headquarters, manage global and external partners, and collaborate across functions to deliver secure, compliant, and cost‑effective solutions at industrial scale.

What You Bring
Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related field. Business management background preferred.
10+ years of product development experience across the full lifecycle, including 5+ years in IoT, edge, or embedded systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high‑performing technical teams in a global, cross‑functional environment.
Solid understanding of technology landscape and trends in Industrial IoT, edge computing, connectivity (cellular/4G/5G), and communication and alarming.
Understanding of Product Cyber Security concepts and secure development life cycle practices, with familiarity in standards such as IEC 62443.
Proven success defining development strategies, building roadmaps, and managing complex dependencies.
Strong background in Agile methods and modern software engineering practices.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
