IT Support Specialist, 80%
Our client is a global leader in indirect procurement solutions, offering strategic, operational and tactical procurement services. Locations in Switzerland are in Zurich and near Zug, but they also have several offices worldwide.
They are seeking the right external help for a minimum duration of 4 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion into a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver first- and second-level IT support via phone, email, and remote access
* Assist with the setup, configuration, and upkeep of laptops, peripherals, meeting room technology, and mobile devices
* Provide guidance to colleagues on IT-related inquiries and troubleshooting steps
* Escalate advanced technical issues to senior team members or external service providers
* Contribute to IT-related projects under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager
* Perform administrative IT tasks, such as user access management
* Maintain and update internal IT documentation
* Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary
* Gain hands-on experience in asset management, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint
Minimum Requirements:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory)
* 1-2 years of experience in IT support (including internships or personal projects)
* Eagerness to develop technical skills and grow in a professional IT setting
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Excellent communication skills, even in high-pressure situations
* Fluent in German and English
* Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is an advantage
* Knowledge of ITIL framework is beneficial but not required
