Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing project cost estimates and transition from estimates to control budgets
* Identify and establish project interfaces and protocols for administration and control
* Deliver accurate and timely cost reports to project leadership and stakeholders to meet corporate deadlines
* Ensure that engineering partners and contractors adhere to project control requirements and methodologies
* Implement project-level processes that support cost management needs
* Maintain comprehensive cost reporting, including budgets, commitments, and assessments of work done
* Support project leadership in managing resources and forecasting potential overruns or savings
* Provide accurate estimates and reports of estimated at completion (EAC)
* Assist in change, risk, and opportunity management regarding cost impact calculations
* Control the management of contingency funds according to guidelines
* Support project closeout activities, including asset activation and commercial closure
* Offer guidance and support to other cost engineers as needed
