The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an OT / Industrial IT Technician to join a highly regulated manufacturing environment (pharma-type setting).
This is a hands-on role focused on supporting OT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of systems used in production. The position sits at the intersection of IT and industrial systems—less focused on automation development, more on system support and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for OT infrastructure and production systems
* Manage and implement Windows and application patching processes (assessment, testing, deployment)
* Support SCADA / HMI environments and ensure system availability
* Work with OPC UA and data communication layers
* Collaborate with engineering, IT, and production teams
* Contribute to change control, validation, and documentation activities
* Assist with cybersecurity and system compliance in a GMP environment
* Support audits and ensure adherence to quality standards
Your Profile:
* Experience in OT / Industrial IT / System support environments
* Strong knowledge of Windows systems and patching processes
* Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, or process control systems
* Understanding of OPC UA or industrial data communication
* Experience working in a GMP or regulated environment is a strong advantage
* Solid problem-solving skills and a structured, methodical approach
Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of networking (VLANs, routing, firewalls)
* Exposure to cybersecurity in industrial environments
* Experience with Linux systems
* Understanding of databases (MS SQL, Oracle)
