Senior Group Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor
Aufgaben
* Provide independent and objective assurance to senior management and the Head of Group Internal Audit to support informed decisions.
* Plan and conduct independent and objective internal audits within the Asset & Wealth Management division.
* Assess the design and operational effectiveness of controls, identify risks, and evaluate findings to ensure lean banking operations and robust processes with the highest level of security.
* Support forensic audits to identify potential irregularities, control gaps or compliance risks.
* Carry out quality controls on key operational processes and internal controls.
* Monitor the implementation of measures.
* Review governance and supervisory structures to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, and to guarantee proper documentation.
* Prepare audit documentation, record findings and contribute to audit reports and recommendations.
* Participate in special investigations and projects.
* Act as a sparring partner for management.
Qualifikation
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
* CPA or CIA certification and familiarity with the regulatory framework.
* Strong work ethic.
* Professional experience at an international bank in the field of internal audit or at a leading audit firm, with experience as an assistant manager or manager in banking audit.
* In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and experience in conducting audits and leading audit teams.
* Strong analytical skills combined with a team‑ and service‑oriented approach.
* Hands‑on approach and interest in complex international audit projects.
* Attention to detail and ability to assess issues and communicate professionally under time pressure.
* Structured, independent working style.
* IT skills, particularly in banking software and Microsoft Office.
* German and English language skills.
