Job Description
Design packaging molds (pilot & production) ensuring optimal steel dimensions and cycle times
Lead core projects focused on mold performance, cost efficiency, and technical innovation
Convince internal experts and stakeholders on design choices through technical justification
Prepare detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and optimize designs
Stay informed on new technologies and best practices in mold design
The Successful Applicant
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Design
5+ years of experience in mold design for packaging or similar industries
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent)
Strong understanding of mold construction and manufacturing processes
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with technical experts
Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment
