Engine Shop Engineer
The position holder will provide technical support for the Engine maintenance process (disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly and testing). You will collaborate closely with our internal departments, but as well with Engine manufacturer to find repair solutions. You will also play a major role in technical investigations and issues Engineering reports.
Your tasks
Provide active support by identifying, participating or leading in problem solving activities or initiatives in the Engine maintenance process
Leading of technical failure investigations and root cause analysis
Provide technical assistance for engine maintenance and piece part repair organization under consideration of commercial and economical aspects within the boundaries of the aviation requirements according to EASA Part 145 and SR Technics quality requirements
Assess and incorporate OEM tech data and customer special requirements into work procedures to achieve product improvements in terms of safety, quality, delivery and costs
Interact with OEM’s and vendors to improve repairability and reliability of engine parts and components
Act as interface between internal customers and the Engine manufactures
Attend product conferences with the Engine- manufacturers and operators
Define and improve the technical standard and maintenance concept of the CFM56 / PW4000 engines and engine components
Prepare reliability analysis and continuously update and improve the Engine Maintenance Program
Your profile
Education (Young professionals): University or FH (Master/Bachelor), HF
First experience in Aviation/Engine MRO and/or Manufacturing environment is an advantage
Language: Proficiency in English (Level B1) and German (Level B2)
