Join a paid summer internship where you will support a cross‑generational leadership initiative focused on long‑term, sustainable decision‑making. Through the InTent Internship Programme (#IIP), you will contribute to research, content development, funding support, and project activities linked to the St. Gallen Symposium.
The Position
You will support the A New Generational Contract (NGC) project, which promotes cross‑generational leadership in business for a nature‑positive economy. The role combines research, communications, funding support, and project coordination. You will work closely with the programme director and the NGC project lead, and help generate content, map promising practices, and contribute to the visibility and development of the initiative.
Responsibilities
* Conduct desk research on youth engagement formats in DACH businesses, such as shadow boards and consulting boards
* Draft a short case study paper based on the research
* Create core content for the New Generational Contract, including short articles and report material
* Contribute ideas for cross‑generational sessions or workshop formats
* Map grant‑making foundations and support funding outreach
* Update the New Generational Contract landing page, including a sub‑page
Qualifications
You are a PhD or Master’s student in Management & Organizational Behavior, Public Policy, Sustainability Governance, Sociology, Philosophy (Intergenerational Ethics), (International) Business, International Affairs, or a related field. You are comfortable working across research, writing, and coordination tasks, and you are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a cross‑generational leadership initiative.
* Strong written and spoken English
* Comfortable with research, writing, and structured analysis
* Organised and able to support multiple workstreams
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience with funding proposals, reports, or analyses is a plus
* Swiss or EU Passport holder, valid work permit, or the right to work in Switzerland
