About Our Client
Our Senior Partner, Stephan Surber has been exclusively mandated by an Investment Manager with a strong track record in infrastructure investments with a large number of institutional and private investors in the DACH region. As part of their expansion and growth, they are looking for a highly motivated Senior Sales SVP or Director Level with a strong network with institutional clients, EAM, and family offices to develop their fundraising activities in the DACH Region.
Job Description
1. Growing opportunities and originating new business among new and existing institutional and private clients.
2. Extensive filtering and classification of our database to target suitable investors for our various existing and new products.
3. Deepening investor relations at all levels, including a full understanding of the decision-making process.
4. Covering all aspects of the sales process to ensure successful onboarding and closing.
5. Maintaining constant contact with investment teams and staying up to date on product content.
6. Offering guidance, acting as a sparring partner for clients and prospects, and presenting solutions as needed.
7. Actively participating in the further development of marketing material.
8. Being responsible for the completion of RFPs, RFIs, and other sales requests.
9. Further leveraging own professional network and undertaking necessary measures to expand industry connections, including attendance at relevant conferences and professional events.
The Successful Applicant
1. 8-15 years of experience in the financial industry with strong fundraising/sales skills.
2. Proven network with Swiss institutional clients and family offices, EAM, and Wealth Managers.
3. Salesperson with a hunter mentality and a strong track record in fundraising.
4. Entrepreneurial approach and driven to perform.
5. High level of self-motivation and strong sense of accountability while staying humble.
6. Persuasive, flexible, and able to engage with clients on a variety of levels and topics.
7. Excellent academic and professional track record.
8. Fluent in German and English; French is a strong asset.
