Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment of Linux-based applications within customer environments, either on-premise or in the cloud. This includes developing and maintaining technical project documentation, writing scripts in Python, and creating project-specific deployment tests.
In addition, the successful candidate will provide 2nd level support, interfacing with in-house R&D teams, and supporting integration with IP telephony and other IT systems. They will also ensure system stability through technical maintenance and upgrades, bug fixes, and improvements.
Furthermore, the Deployment & Support Engineer will be responsible for incident, problem, change, and capacity management for deployed applications.
Technical Skills Required:
* 5+ years of experience in IT, IVR, and PBX VoIP & SIP
* Proven track record in deployment and support work in a customer-facing team
* Experience using Unix/Linux
* Software development background in Python, JavaScript, Node.JS, or another fourth-generation language
* Systems administration and partner/customer technical tier 2 support experience
* Excellent experience integrating ASR into large enterprise Contact Centers
* Integration of various systems (ASR, TTS, Recording) in enterprise contact centers (Cisco, Genesys, Avaya)
* Voice Biometrics and Speech Analytics systems consulting experience
* Good knowledge of WFO systems (Verint, Zoom, Nice)
* DevOps experience integrating contact centre platforms
* Basic knowledge of DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform)
* Configuration, integration of Genesys Voice Platform (GVP)
* Design, build, and support VXML applications
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture (Docker, Podman)
* Knowledge of IP Telephony protocols, especially SIP
* SIP Telephony applications experience (Asterisk, Freeswitch, Kamailio, WebRTC)
* High-load applications experience
* Audio and text data processing experience
* NLP products (Nuance, Google, Genesys, IBM Watson)
* Basic knowledge of machine learning frameworks
