EMEA Co-Products Sales Account Manager, Carbohydrate Solutions
The position is part of the Carbohydrates Solutions team in EMEA, and reports to the Director EMEA Raw materials and Co-Products. The primary role of this position is to implement and execute trading and marketing strategies of co-products from our wet milling and corn germ crush facilities, driving volume through key channels, and contributing to the overall profitability and market presence.
Responsibilities:
• Sell the plant’s Co-Products output at the best price and keep stocks low.
• Deliver on the trading strategy for the assigned Co-Product to meet commercial and volume targets.
• Actively market Co-Products in coordination with our internal network to strategic customers and markets.
• Maintain a strong and current understanding of the feedstuffs market, including industry trends with focus on co-products and Corn Oil.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with NRM CarbSol, Crushing and Supply Chain to ensure seamless and profitable execution.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, developing a clear understanding of their needs and preferences.
• Share relevant market insights in a timely matter and during regular trade and marketing meetings.
• Contribute to the wider CarbSol EMEA group by making regular sales reports and updating sales forecasts for co-products.
• Monitor and manage established goals, considering logistics, trade mechanics, stocks levels, production plans and foreign exchange impacts.
• Work closely with the NRM team and Supply Chain to timely adjust for production adjustments and stock levels of Co-Products.
• Generate reports to analyse customer behaviour and uncover new trading opportunities.
• Support team performance by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and stepping in for peers when required.
• Develop a mid to long-term strategy for market placements of Co-Products.
• Actively engage in readiness initiatives across all groups.
• Maintain self-control and proper behaviour should any misunderstandings or issues arise, and immediately report of any established irregularity.
• Monitor Raw Material supply and co-product contracts execution.
Job Requirements:
• A bachelor or master degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commodity trading and logistics.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the domestic & international trade, including Incoterms / GAFTA / FOSFA.
• Relevant industry experience is an advantage, including EMEA transportation systems and vessel/barge freight
• Key soft skills at an advanced level such as able to solve complex problems, decision making with high risks, building strong relationships, excellent communication skills and demonstration of being team player,
• Strong negotiation and risk management skills.
• The ability to think ‘outside the box’ and to work and communicate at a conceptual level as well as at a hands-on, practical level
• Procession of a driver’s license, passport and the willingness to travel.
• Fluent in English and preferably Hungarian
• High computer competency in MS Office, Market Q, ERP, and Internal web applications.
