Lead Embedded Software Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and skilled embedded software engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing control concepts and software for new charging solutions in e-Mobility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, with experience in backend development including API integration, databases, and cloud solutions. They should also be familiar with embedded systems, version control tools, and optionally frontend frameworks.
* Job Description:
* Develop control concepts and software for new charging solutions in e-Mobility.
* Lead the development and lifecycle management of object-oriented software for embedded systems.
* Design and implement customized software solutions for eMobility projects, ensuring integration with backend systems and digital functionalities.
* Troubleshoot embedded devices, analyze data, and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
* Write and execute technical specifications and test procedures for internal and external partners.
* Coordinate engineering activities across multiple projects, ensuring complete multidisciplinary input and timely delivery.
* Provide technical support during testing, installation, commissioning, and warranty phases.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Master's degree in engineering.
* Min. 2 years relevant working experience.
* Proficient in object-oriented programming (Python and/or JavaScript).
* Familiar with embedded systems (Linux OS), version control tools (Azure DevOps, Git).
* Knowledge of e-mobility standards such as OCPP, IEC 61851, ISO15118, DIN 70121, VDV 463/261, SAE J3105.
* Experience with Docker/Docker-Compose in production environments and understanding of communication protocols.
