Health and Safety Professional
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team in Rapperswil. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our safety culture and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and global EHS standards.
About the Role
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will drive sustainable environmental, health, and safety initiatives across the organization. Your excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to details, and hands-on approach will enable you to develop and implement effective safety strategies.
* Develop a positive safety culture and conduct thorough risk assessments of all workstations.
* Create and execute an EHS plan/roadmap for the workplace, adhering to legal guidelines and global standards.
* Design and implement an environmental management plan in accordance with our sustainability goals.
* Develop trainings on EHS matters and cascade knowledge into the local management team and all employees.
* Perform and coordinate ISO 45001 audits and internal safety audits.
* Be responsible for EHS reporting and support the management team for sustainable improvement actions.
* Ensure that all hazards, near misses, and accidents are professionally investigated and that preventive actions are implemented sustainably.
* Active participation in the EHS global working group.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A relevant Swiss safety certificate (SUVA-Spezialist ASGS or Expert ASGS).
* Proven experience as a safety manager, with a deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
* Valid qualification in occupational health and safety and project management.
* The ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies globally.
* Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
* Fluent English and German language skills, with every other language being an advantage.
