About This Position
What You Will Do
The Primary Areas Of Responsibility Will Be
* Apply payments received into the accounting system
* Reconcile monthly bank statements
* Enter vendor invoices
* Identify and properly record fixed asset purchases
* Process employee expense reports, including reviewing approvals, general ledger account selections and data input
* Assist in general ledger analysis and month-end closing process
* Monitor accounting online mailbox including answering all emails in a timely manner, forwarding emails to appropriate parties, etc.
Note that this role requires on-site presence at our office in Nyon. Remote workers will not be considered.
Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and competencies:
* Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts receivable/payable principles
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
* Experience in recording journal entries and reconciling accounts
* Familiar with audit concepts and accounting principles
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Results-oriented with personal accountability
* Excellent attention to detail, quality, and control
* A self-starter, able to work on their own initiative with a willingness to take responsibility
* Capable of delivering information in an efficient manner
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
* Experience in accounting/bookkeeping
* Other combinations of academic and practical experience will be considered
