Your role
As a Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in defining the problem, proposing and refining the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability-building, helping to detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required
1. Break down the problem into segments and evaluate the available options for solving problems.
2. Build cause-effect linkages based on synthesized information and arrive at an optimal solution keeping in mind multiple stakeholders.
3. Infer patterns and make generalizations; build and test hypotheses to solve long-term problems in concurrence with multiple stakeholders.
4. Seek to understand customer needs, build credibility by providing relevant inputs, integrate client feedback, and deliver as per commitments.
5. Anticipate customer needs, analyze and constantly improve systems, processes, and services, resolve tough issues, and build confidence to be treated as an advisor.
6. Prioritize individual tasks based on project criticalities, proactively plan based on critical inputs from historical data, analyze work output, and plan for contingencies.
7. Identify key execution drivers & constraints, prioritize activities accordingly; integrate planning efforts across multiple areas/projects/processes and develop backup plans proactively for identified potential risks.
8. Proficient in English language, structure thoughts clearly, listen attentively, question to gain clarity, and confidently share viewpoints.
9. Highlight key ideas, articulate own point of view logically; assess target audience needs and communicate appropriately.
10. Build context, use anecdotes/powerful data, highlight key takeaways, and use logic/data to handle any disagreements.
11. Use advanced KM, problem/release management methods to detect and fix problems & plan releases & know portfolio analysis tools.
12. Basic analysis, solution evaluation methods & process mapping tools to identify problems and map processes in simple client scenarios.
13. In-depth analysis, solution evaluation methods & process mapping tools to identify problems and their impact on client business.
14. Advanced analysis, solution evaluation & process mapping tools to check the impact of problems & identify tools to track process measurements.
Expertise:
1. Experience in L2 Application Support role preferably from Finance or Banking Industry.
2. Technically proficient in Unix/Linux, Oracle PLSQL, Shell Scripting, Autosys, Batch Monitoring, Automation Tools.
3. Familiarity with ITIL processes (Certification preferred).
4. Experience in Incident management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Release Management.
5. Perform the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework.
6. Very strong communication skills (written & verbal).
Must Have:
