This position is located in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Applicants must hold a valid Swiss work permit and be legally resident in the Canton of Vaud.
Your Key Responsibilities
Design and execute sourcing strategies that go beyond cost—delivering value, innovation, and risk mitigation.
Select and manage suppliers for your business unit, ensuring alignment with performance, quality, and strategic goals.
Monitor market trends and customer needs to continuously refine sourcing plans.
Drive annual price performance across assigned categories.
Lead end‑to‑end supplier selection, from market scanning to final approval and communication.
Negotiate contracts that meet business requirements and secure long‑term value.
Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders, building trust and enabling procurement excellence across the organization.
Your Profile
Minimum 7 years of senior‑level experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within complex, global manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead major transformation initiatives, including supplier landscape redesign, category strategy evolution, and long‑term value creation.
Deep expertise in category management and strategic sourcing, with strong understanding of technical or industrial components and the ability to challenge established approaches.
Strong commercial and negotiation acumen, with a proven record managing high‑value international portfolios and influencing multi‑regional supply ecosystems.
Executive presence and credibility to operate confidently at C‑suite level, engaging senior leaders internally and across key supplier organizations.
Analytical, forward‑looking mindset, capable of interpreting market dynamics, assessing supplier capabilities, and converting insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French is a strong asset.
Proactive, results‑driven leader with a history of successful strategy execution in matrixed environments, fostering cross‑functional alignment and building trusted partnerships.
Compensation range: 180k–200k CHF fixed base.
