This is an initial contract running for 12 months with a strong likelihood to extend on a long-term basis (up to a maximum of five years), based on project roadmaps, with a flexible start date.
The Findur Developer will collaborate with the Business Analyst to implement solutions in and around Findur to meet stakeholder needs. Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
As a key team member, you will leverage your business and technical skills to work across teams, understand business requirements, and suggest improvements to processes.
Responsibilities include:
1. Design, implement, and test enhancements and bug fixes in Findur;
2. Document design and implementation decisions;
3. Coordinate with other IT groups for systems design, integration, standards, and change management.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should possess as many of the following skills as possible:
* Experience in development with Findur/Endur and OpenComponents;
* Programming experience in Java/.NET;
* Ideally, experience with Apache Kafka (Cloudera), Kubernetes (OpenShift);
* Nice to have: ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub Enterprise CI/CD;
* Solid knowledge of design and integration patterns, particularly event-driven architecture;
* Experience working with distributed systems architecture;
* Strong understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and operations;
* Fluency in English.
