Position Title: Key Account Manager

Role Summary:

The Key Account Manager plays a critical role in our sales department, focusing on developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and field teams. This outside sales position is essential for orchestrating sales initiatives, implementing pricing strategies, and implementing rebate programs to enhance sales growth. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will offer guidance to local outside sales representatives in areas needing specialized support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Relationship Management: Build and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers and field teams. Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, understanding their requirements, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
2. Sales Coordination: Lead sales efforts across various geographies, ensuring a unified and effective approach. Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as the Key Account Specialist, to align sales strategies with client needs.
3. Pricing Strategy: Formulate and execute pricing strategies for key accounts. Manage contract negotiations and terms to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
4. Rebate Program Implementation: Develop and implement rebate programs tailored to key accounts, with the goal of motivating sales growth.
5. Local Sales Support Direction: Provide direction and support to local outside sales representatives, ensuring alignment with broader sales strategies and effectiveness in addressing local market demands.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Consistently report on sales progress and market trends. Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas needing improvement.

Requirements:

7. Demonstrated experience in an outside sales role, with a focus on key account management.
8. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and inspire team members.
9. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
10. Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
11. Proficiency in analyzing market trends and sales data for strategic planning.
12. Skilled in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
13. Willingness to travel to meet with clients and field teams as necessary.

Goal of the Position:

The primary objective of this role is to foster sales growth through effective key account management, strategic sales initiatives, and robust leadership of local sales representatives. The Key Account Manager is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of our sales strategies and maintaining productive client relationships.
